PERFORMANCE

The Karakoram Wayfinder is designed with a ‘Laid Back’ responsiveness and replaces the Connect S. The binding combines a quick edge change with a more ‘surfy’ feel towards the tip and tail thanks to the new ‘Surf Sidewalls’. This gives you more lateral freedom of movement. The Air-Flow Highback is also designed for freedom of movement, making this the softest Karakoram highback with a lot of open space to save weight. All Connect bindings have an Open Chassis, which means that all non-functional material has been milled away. Not only does this save weight, but it also creates a more natural flex under the binding, which minimises the clattering of your board. Karakoram’s Active Joining technique presses the binding onto your board, while the two halves are pulled together at the split. This ensures great responsiveness on your solid and makes a split look like a solid.

COMFORT

The Wayfinder’s freedom of movement is what truly adds to the comfort. The binding is also equipped with an EVA footbed, so you will have no trouble standing on your split or solid all day long. Equipped with the Ankle Surf strap that contributes to the comfort and the AirForm Toe strap. The Toestrap conforms to your boot with independent compression pods, eliminating pressure points and allowing for pinch point free flex. Keep your feet happy and boots snug in your bindings while touring and riding. Made from Dupont Hytrel, the AirForm straps when paired will shave weight and save your feet.

USE

The Karakoram interface operates by using the signature lever at the heelcup that allows the binding to be released from the interface. The Dual Ride-Stride Forward Lean Adjuster on the highback is designed to be easily rotated 90° and 180°. This gives you a Forward Lean of -8° during touring and the possibility of 0° to 22° during boarding. The Wayfinder Split comes with the Connect Split Kit. Quiver Connectors for your solid are also available at Snowcountry.
